this album was made using a korg kaoscillator, a korg volca beats, and a tascam 2488. the simplicity and limitations of these digital devices were the spark and guide to the creation of this album. The process stood as what felt like a necessary act of resistance to the sometimes staggering and overwhelming advancement in all things technology. Not surprisingly, the end result seems to resemble soundscapes from some late 90's and early 00's video games; bringing to memory their 3D movements, their showcase of themed levels, characters and consequences. their innocent and earnest graphics. soft planets.
